Coming Up

Urgent School Closure Tomorrow Tuesday 5th January.

Apologies for the very short notice but following the Prime Minister's announcement this evening school will be closed to all children tomorrow Tuesday 5th January. The day is needed to plan and prepare for the children of key workers and vulnerable children returning to school on Wednesday while providing remote education for the children at home.
The email and text website we use to contact parents has crashed as presumably every headteacher in the country is trying to access it at the same time. We will be in touch tomorrow with more information.

Thank you for your understanding I am aware this cause difficulties for everyone.

Welcome to St. Joseph’s Catholic Primary School website. I hope the website provides you with an insight into the school itself and the wider community.

St. Joseph’s is a one form entry school for children age 4-11. It is situated in Hunslet, Leeds in the Parish of St. Margaret Clitherow. Our Mission Statement: 'St. Joseph's following in the footsteps of Jesus, having fun learning achieving and loving together' reflects the Gospel values as we encourage every child to achieve their full potential. Staff, parents and children work together at St. Joseph’s to create a loving, caring environment in which children feel safe and happy. Our aim is to develop the whole child who will make a truly valuable contribution to the world in which we live.

I hope you like the website and find it useful. If you require further information or a papercopy of anything on the website please contact Mrs Richardson in the school office.
