Moving Words Performance Poetry Workshop
On Wednesday, 21st February, the whole school took part in an energetic and exciting day of performance poetry. Each year group learnt two poems linked to topics they are currently learning about in class. They then practised performing the poems and all of the accompanying actions. The poems ranged from protecting endangered species to Goldilocks and the Three Bears! The day culminated in each class performing to the rest of the school.
A big thank you to Colin, Julie and Adam from Moving Words for making the day so enjoyable.
“That was the best day ever!” Year One pupil.
In Year Three we used concrete resources to help us scale and divide.
In our RE topic, ‘Mary our Mother’, we looked very carefully at the Hail Mary prayer. Here we are creating a liturgical dance for the Hail Mary.
In Science we were learning about shadows. We had lots of fun making shadows and investigating how we could make them bigger and smaller.
